The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) extends deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Mr Patrick Manning.
Mr Manning in his long and distinguished years of public and political service to Trinidad and Tobago was a role model of selfless service and leadership.
He would have led the country and his political party during difficult times and adversity, but his poise , dignity , strength of character , indomitable will , perseverance and determination stood out.
Mr. Manning had a bright and positive vision for what represented the best of Trinidad and Tobago.
The TTOC is asking all its affilated members and the wider Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Movement as a mark of respect to observe a minute silence at all activities this weekend.
May he rest in peace.
